The building is equally impressive, mixing medieval, renaissance and modern architecture. Known as the “Gibraltar of the North”, the UNESCO-listed Old Town showcases the city’s historic charm with its well-preserved fortifications and Gothic architecture.

The town’s quaint streets and lively market square are packed with locals and tourists alike, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
Day 3: Explore Vianden Castle and the Moselle wine region
On the third day, I headed to the charming town of Vianden, home to one of the most magnificent castles in Europe. Perched atop a hill overlooking the town, Vianden Castle is a true architectural gem. As I wandered through the magnificent halls and admired the panoramic views of the castle towers, I couldn’t help but imagine the castle’s rich history and the stories it holds.
In the afternoon, I ventured into the picturesque Moselle wine region. This scenic area is known for its vineyards, charming wine villages and delicious wines.
